Job Introduction
We are seeking an organised, proactive and highly motivated CPD Co-ordinator to join our Quality team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting staff development and professional learning across the college.
Working closely with the Assistant Principal and Quality team, you will co-ordinate and administer Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity, ensuring training programmes, development events and mandatory compliance requirements are delivered effectively and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills who is passionate about supporting colleagues’ professional growth and contributing to continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and administer CPD activity across the college, including training sessions, staff development events and Development Days
- Maintain accurate CPD records, compliance data and reporting systems
- Support the planning, promotion and organisation of internal and external training opportunities
- Organise staff induction and CPD induction programmes, including online resources and materials
- Monitor mandatory and regulatory training to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Liaise with curriculum teams, managers, external providers and stakeholders to support CPD delivery
- Prepare reports, management information and compliance updates for leaders and managers
- Support the administration and monitoring of CPD budgets
- Organise the logistics of CPD events, including room bookings, registers, resources and external speakers
- Provide flexible administrative and customer service support across the department when required
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Be confident managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Have experience maintaining accurate records and producing reports
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Have an understanding of staff development, training or CPD processes within education or a similar environment
- Be committed to supporting quality improvement and professional development across the college
